Emily Akerman, She/Her is a deaf artist with her Hearing Guide dog Yuki who is attached at her hip. Emily loves to create work that expresses awareness and advocate for the deaf and disabled community,  The genres of Emily’s works are illustrations, poems and slam poetry.
